1st ekiden of Chatelaillon-plage

Châtelaillon-Plage hosts the first Ekiden on the weekend of April 13 and 14!

On Saturday afternoon, two races aimed at children are planned, with a family relay and a relay specifically dedicated to children.

On Sunday, two races are scheduled:

1. **Ekiden**: A team relay marathon of 6 runners, including segments of 5 km, 10 km, 5 km, 10 km, 5 km and 7,195 km. This event is labeled FFA, qualifier for the French championships, and serves as support for the regional championship of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine league. Participation is limited to 150 teams. Companies can also take up the challenge by forming teams for the Ekiden Business Challenge in Châtelaillon-Plage.

2. **Half-Ekiden ®**: A 20 km relay race, with segments of 5 km, 10 km and 5 km, reserved for teams of 3 runners. Participation in this event is limited to 50 teams.
